Adsorption Mini Course

This mini-course delves into the fundamental and advanced concepts of adsorption through an in-depth analysis of the Langmuir, Adair, and Hill models. Starting with the basics of the Langmuir model, students will learn to describe and predict monolayer adsorption on homogenous surfaces, advancing to applications and competitive adsorption scenarios. The course then explores the Adair and Hill models, focusing on cooperative binding and its significance in biological systems. Designed for students and professionals in chemistry, biochemistry, and related fields, this course provides comprehensive knowledge on adsorption processes, equipping learners with the tools to apply these models in various scientific and industrial applications.
